Background
Carter provides support for visiting Professors, Research Scholars, and Short-Term Scholars and their dependents in the Department of State's Exchange Visitor Program. He issues immigration documents and provides guidance for the J-1 visa.
Carter is also a PhD candidate in the Department of Philosophy whose research focuses on the intersection of virtue and emotion. He has taught many international, as well as domestic, students through PHIL213 (Communicating Moral Issues) and PHIL325 (Engineering Ethics). In his free time, he enjoys practicing Aikido and building personal computers.
