Background

Chris began their career in Campus Recreation at LSU, starting as an intramural official before transitioning into roles as a facility operations assistant and supervisor. After graduating, Chris joined the University of West Florida as a graduate assistant for building and event services at the University Commons (Student Union). Following this role, Chris moved to UNC Charlotte, where they held multiple positions in student development, assessment, facilities, operations, and strategic partnerships.

Chris is an avid sports enthusiast who enjoys playing basketball, flag football, kickball, and softball. He also has a passion for officiating high school basketball, finding fulfillment in the game and its competitive spirit. Outside of sports, Chris enjoys spending quality time with his wife, family, and friends, discovering good food, and celebrating the success of others—whether individually or as part of a team.
